The Trip
Round trip from Ireland to West Greenland and likely Baffin Island, Canada.
A lot of walking in wilderness. Fishing and small game hunting.
Trip is 1 June - 15 September. 2 legs; crew change 20 July at Ilulissat or Upernavik. Where we go on the 2nd leg depends on ice conditions.

The Crew
Vasilij Trubicyn - Lithuania, 64. Experienced sailor. Professional navigator.
Bob Thompson - Shetlands, UK; 68. Experienced sailor. Semi retired Marine Engineer. We met at Tassilaq. E Greenland a few years ago - he was crewing on another boat.
Connor Ryan - Chicago, USA, 27. Sails a Venture 21 on the Great Lakes. Writer, photographer, filmmaker.
Russell Case - Hawaii, USA; 65. 30K NM on ocean crossings. Retired lawyer and investment banker.
Ruairi O'Cualain - Inishere, Galway Bay, Ireland. 57. Rowing curraghs, sailing. Worked on ferries & fishing boats. Small farm.
Myself - 65 years, American. Experienced sailor. Keen on walking & foraging.
The Boat
Teddy is a Danish built steel boat, insulated, 2 stoves for heat. 39' LOD, 6' draft, 16 ton, full keel. An extremely strong boat, good for high latitude travel & in ice.
